The grip area of the stock and the entire forend are OverMolded with soft rubber for outstanding shotgun handling characteristics which facilitates fast easy mounting and sight acquisition.

Hogue OverMolded Shotgun pistol grips feature our new Tamer™ grip technology used on the Smith & Wesson 500. Hogue manufactures the grip used on the 500 which incorporates a special Tamer insert under the web of the hand. For those who have shot the 500 you know this grip works! The exclusive Hogue Tamer™ pistol grip features Hogues' famous orthopedic hand shape with compound palm swells and proportioned finger grooves and utilizes an internal Tamer recoil cushion that dampens the painful recoil of magnum loads.

Tamer Shotgun grips provide all these features at a price equal to or below the competitions hard grips.

Hogue also offers OverMolded shotgun stocks in a "less lethal" color combination that is ideal for Law Enforcement. These new stocks feature the rubber areas in a safety orange creating a very attractive and functional stock. Because only the rubber areas are orange the stock has a unique contrast between the orange grip, recoil pad and black cheek portion.

The less lethal colors are available on both the standard length stock as well as the Short Shot 12" LOP models.
