Extreme grips are precision machined from solid billet materials such as Aerospace grade 6061 T6 Aluminum, Titanium and now available in High strength G-10 composite. Extreme grips are available for most semi-auto pistols that Hogue currently makes and are carefully
engineered and sized for the ultimate in fit, form and function. The strength of these Extreme materials allows for the thinnest possible grips on large double stack autos such as SIG pistols. Aluminum grips are hard Type III anodized and available in 5 colors; Clear, Black,
Red, Blue, and Green. G-10 is available in black and Camo. Precision sharp, crisp checkering
is also available on most Extreme models.

Extreme Hybrid™ models are available with a textured Exotic Hardwood insert. The Extreme line has also been expanded to include 1911 Mainspring housings, and our new Magrip™ which includes an integrated magazine well in the grip.

NEW STOCK MODELS

Savage 110

Finally the Savage 110 will be ready for shipment in March 2009. Models will be available with pillar bedding or the full length bedding block, for both long and short actions and in standard or heavy barrel configurations. Originally slated for delivery in 2006 the Savage was postponed because Savage was in process of re-designing the rifle. The delay was worth it because this new OverMolded stock now fits both old and new versions of this popular rifle! Both of these new stocks will be available with pillar bedding or a full length bedding block and made for both long and short actions and in standard or heavy barrel configurations.

These great new OverMolded Stocks are constructed by molding a super strong, rigid fiberglass reinforced skeleton or "insert" that precisely fits the guns' action. This rigid skeleton is then OverMolded with a durable but soft synthetic elastomer(rubber). During the heat and extreme pressure of injection molding the elastomer adheres chemically as well as mechanically to the skeleton, resulting in a permanent bond between the rubber and the insert. The super strong skeleton gives the stocks their strength, and the precise molded dimensions provide a perfect drop-in fit of your rifle. The state of the art elastomer material used on Hogue stocks won't harden with age and is virtually impervious to all oils and solvents found around firearms, providing years of dependable service.

Hogue grip screws have been redesigned and improved and are now Hogue Extreme grip screws. Hogue Extreme grip screws are made from Heat treated 416 Stainless Steel which is much tougher and resistant to damage than conventional screws. Most standard screws including our former quality screws twist off or strip out at a much lower torque than the new Extreme Screws. Make no mistake, the Extreme grip screws are the finest most durable grip screws available.

NEW SCRIMSHAW GRIPS

Select Ivory polymer grips are now available with engraved scrimshaw designs. Several standard designs are available and more are being added. Scrimshaw is available on Cowboy style grips for Ruger and Colt single actions as well as Colt .45 panels.

Standard patterns include the American Flag, Eagle with American Flag, Eagle with Talons Out, Aces (gambling theme), Cobra Snake, Longhorn, Boot with Hangmans Noose, Grim Reaper and the Armed Forces insignias for the Colt Government.
